Established in 1959, today, AIB has 3597 members in 85 different countries around the world. Members include scholars from the leading global academic institutions as well consultants, researchers, government and NGO representatives. We welcome individuals and institutions from developing countries, newly industrialized countries, as well as industrialized countries to join AIB.
AIB-L, our electronic discussion list, offers opportunities for discussion and intellectual networking creating a virtual venue for sharing professional accomplishments, facilitating learning, and open exchanges.
AIB also houses sixteen chapters around the world as well as some special interest groups such as the Women in AIB (WAIB).
Lorraine Eden is Professor of Management at Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on the political economy of MNEs, specializing in transfer pricing, international taxation and regional integration. She was the founder of Women in the Academy of International Business (WAIB). She is Editor in Chief Elect of the Journal of International Business Studies.
